This rigid plastic entrance bolts to the side of the D shaped pot. It has been successfully field tested for green and velvet crabs, Nephrops, lobsters and crabs. It can also be easily attached to your existing conventional pot. Devon fishermen experimented with it and by cutting some of the side mesh they found that large crabs and lobsters can enter and not get out. The mesh is also highly resistant to the cutting and twisting action of crabs and lobsters.
