This is our standard bait tube as used in the round pot. It has proved to be highly resistant to cutting and twisting by crustaceans.
This bait tube can also be used in standard lobster pots and have shown to increase the catch due to its holding the bait for longer.

For the D shaped pot the bait tube was modified to be fluted (wine glass). The object was to reduce the footprint area allowing easier removal of the catch.
